A report in the Korea Times says Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) could be moving to extract damages of over $ 3 billion from Samsung (SSNLF.PK) as a fallout of its victory in the patent lawsuit last month. Apparently, Apple’s request was heard by a sympathetically disposed Judge Lucy Koh last Friday.

Country-style restaurant and retail chain Cracker Barrel (NASDAQ:CBRL) delivered a cracker of a fourth-quarter result as earnings nearly doubled due to healthy customer traffic and same-restaurant sales. the company hiked its dividend by 25% and approved a share purchase program of $ 100 million.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, a scarcity of new malls combined with an increased availability of locations given up by down-sizing retailers, has made it easy for restaurant chains such as Chipotle (NYSE:CMG) and Buffalo Wild Wings (NASDAQ:BWLD) to enhance their reach into shopping centres.
