Apple Relies on the iPad Mini and 4 Hot Stocks to Watch

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL): Current Price: $434.15

On its official blog on Thursday, NPD DisplaySearch posted: “As we noted in December, Apple had planned to sell 40 million iPad minis (7.9”) and 60 million iPads (9.7”) in 2013. However, the reality seems to be the reverse, as the iPad mini has been more popular than the iPad.”

The post added that it was a possibility that Apple had plans to sell 55 million iPad minis (7.9”) and 33 million iPads (9.7”) during 2013. Furthermore, Samsung (SSNLF.PK), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), ASUS, and Acer have all shown interest in the 7-9” segment and hope to snag tablet PC market share, and many white-box makers in China have also been emphasizing the smaller tablet PC.
