Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL): Apple and Samsung (SSNLF.PK) will both have to wait a few more months for the U.S. International Trade Commission to make a decision regarding whether or not iPhone and iPad sales should be banned because of patent violations. Samsung had filed a complaint with the ITC that accused Apple’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch of violating four of Samsung’s key patents. Because of this, Samsung requested that the products be banned from being sold in the United States. Last September, a judge for the ITC issued a preliminary ruling that cleared Apple of the patent violations. However, due to the fact that the ruling was preliminary, the ITC’s full six-member commission still had to render its decision, set to occur Tuesday.
