(NASDAQ:AAPL): According to Reuters, A United States judge allowed Samsung Electronics to pursue claims the iPhone5 infringes on their patents while also allowing Apple Inc. to add claims that the Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy S III and the Jelly Bean operating system violate their patents.

BP PLC.(NYSE:BP): According to the New York Times yesterday, Israel and Hamas advanced their conflict over Gaza with new missile and air strikes on both sides. Earlier today, Israel said they had called up 16,000 army reservists as preparations continue for a potential ground offensive.

Foot Locker, Inc. (NYSE:FL): During the first nine months of the year, the company opened seventy new stores, remodeled and relocated 159 stores and closed 72 stores. As of October 27, the company is running 3,367 stores in 23 countries in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. In addition to this, 40 franchised stores are operating in the Middle East and South Korea.
