Analysts: Apple Adds iPhone Supplier and 2 New Notes Investors Must Read Now

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): Foxconn reported a loss of $90 million for the second half of 2012, causing Jefferies to note that the company will be the major supplier of mechanical components, including the plastic casing, for Apple’s anticipated low-cost iPhone, with mass production beginning during June. The other plastic casing supplier will be Jabil (NYSE:JBL), the firm notes. Jefferies also says that its channel checks show that Foxconn has not yet started iPhone assembly, and that Hon Hai has begun to ramp multiple new iPhone models.
