American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) reports an ex-dividend date of January 2nd and a cash dividend payment of 2 cents per share set for February 8th. Shareholders who bought the stock before the ex-dividend date are eligible for this cash dividend payment which marks the fourth quarter that the company has paid the same dividend.

The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) said last Wednesday that it completed an order for 60 of its planned 737 Max planes in late December, pushing its total for the Max to over 1,000. The deal with the leasing company Aviation Capital Group would be worth $6 billion at list prices, but steep discounts are not unusual on large orders.
