One market in which the embattled phone major Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) has not suffered the loss of its lead in market share is India. According to the research firm CMR, the company comprised 22.2 percent of Indian mobile phone shipments in the first half, placing it far ahead of the number two Samsung (SSNLF.PK) with its 13 percent and the third place Micromax with 5.5 percent.
