AT&T Shares Toggle as Frontier is Crowned in Indiana
AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T) recently announced enhancements to its AT&T Toggle, which enables the separation and encryption of business data on the mobile devices of employees and creating separate work mode and business modes. This will include a new custom branded business platform. The shares closed flat Wednesday at $34.98.
Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ): Following Verizon’s newly launched family share plans, Canaccord sees this new plan creating a headwind rather than stimulating demand in the near future. The firm does, however, believe that the change will benefit Verizon in the long run due to the increase of device adoption. Canacord reiterates a Hold rating on the stock and a $41 price target. The shares closed up $0.05 (0.12%) Wednesday at $42.99.
Frontier Communications Corporation (NYSE:FTR) was named the Company of the Year at the Indiana Telecommunications Association’s annual meeting located near French Lick, Indiana. The award is bestowed upon companies which distinguish themselves through their: Focus and commitment to customers, vision and dedication toward market growth, investment impact, and internal and external commitment to Indiana. The shares closed up $0.07 (1.91%) Wednesday at $3.74.
Alcatel-Lucent, S.A. (NYSE:ALU): Because of an agreement with Alcatel-Lucent, Telenor has gained the ability to launch its own digital content store, which will provide easy access to a variety of personalized digital media services including music, applications, games, e-book, and videos. subscribers of Telenor in Serbia are the first to discover the content they most desire in one, localized storefront which knows the people and what they like. The shares closed down $0.06 (3.85%) Wednesday at $1.50.
Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR): Yesterday at its analyst day, Juniper expressed that it expects revenue to increase 2-4 points more quickly than market growth during the next three years. The company added that market growth is expected to be moderate but stay healthy, and it will take market share. Juniper also dropped its long-term margin range to 63%-66%, and Juniper believes revenue will increase 9%-12% from 2013-2015. The shares closed down $0.25 (1.51%) Wednesday at $16.36.
