ACE Limited (NYSE:ACE) will unveil its latest earnings on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. The average estimate of analysts is for profit of $1.83 per share, a decline of 10.7% from the company’s actual earnings for the same quarter a year ago. During the past three months, the average estimate has moved down from $1.95. Between one and three months ago, the average estimate moved down. It also has dropped from $1.91 during the last month. Analysts are projecting profit to rise by 11.8% versus last year to $6.87.

The company has beaten estimates the last four quarters and is coming off a quarter where it topped forecasts by 43 cents, reporting net income of $2.22 per share against a mean estimate of profit of $1.79 per share. On average, analysts predict $3.65 billion in revenue this quarter, a rise of 6.7% from the year ago quarter. Analysts are forecasting total revenue of $15.48 billion for the year, a rise of 12.9% from last year’s revenue of $13.71 billion.

McKesson Corp (NYSE:MCK) will unveil its latest earnings on Monday, January 30, 2012. The average estimate of analysts is for net income of $1.37 per share, a rise of 22.3% from the company’s actual earnings for the same quarter a year ago. During the past three months, the average estimate has moved down from $1.52. Between one and three months ago, the average estimate moved down. It also has dropped from $1.38 during the last month. For the year, analysts are projecting profit of $6.33 per share, a rise of 29.2% from last year.

Last quarter, the company beat estimates by 25 cents, coming in at net income of $1.63 a share versus the estimate of profit of $1.38 a share. It marked the fourth straight quarter of beating estimates. On average, analysts predict $30.13 billion in revenue this quarter, a rise of 6.7% from the year ago quarter. Analysts are forecasting total revenue of $120.43 billion for the year, a rise of 7.5% from last year’s revenue of $112.08 billion.
