Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA) shares jumped 3 percent after the closing bell. The video game company beat estimates in the fourth quarter. Net earnings came in at a loss of $205 million (62 cents per share), but showed improvement from the prior year’s loss of $322 million (97 cents per share). Shares of Activision Blizzard Inc. (NASDAQ:ATVI) also edged higher.
Shares of Qualcomm Inc. (NASDAQ:QCOM) popped more than 4 percent in late trading. Earnings in the fiscal first quarter surged 20 percent on strong smartphone demand from Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone. The company reported a net income of $1.4 billion (81 cents per share), compared to $1.17 billion (71 cents per share) in the previous year.

JDS Uniphase Corp. (NASDAQ:JDSU) shares surged 7.3 percent after fiscal second quarter results top estimates. The company reported a loss of $10.2 million (4 cents per share), compared to a profit of $23.6 million (10 cents per share) in the previous year.
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (NASDAQ:GMCR) shares jumped more than 15 percent in extended trading. Net income for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. rose to $104.4 million (66 cents per share), compared to $2.4 million (2 cents per share) in the same quarter a year earlier. Dunkin Brands Group Inc. (NASDAQ:DNKN) also popped 1.2 percent on the news.

Despite reporting an increase of 24 percent in fourth quarter profits, shares of Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:CMG) sank more than 2 percent late Wednesday. The company earned $1.81 per share, but fell below estimates of $1.83 per share. Shares of McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) edged slightly higher on the results.
