Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT): Current price $27.99

On Tuesday, Microsoft unveiled a new phase in its plans for Skype. At a Lync Conference keynote, Skype president Tony Bates said that Microsoft will join together Skype and Lync, the firm’s business instant messaging service. The connectivity will launch in June, enabling businesses to call and instant message Skype users using the Lync service with vVideo connectivity introduced at a later date. Lync mobile clients will also precede the integration. Microsoft says that a Windows Phone 8 and iOS version will be made available in early March with an Android version about a month later.
