On Wednesday, Discover announced the debut of Discover Cashback Checking, marking the most recent addition to its growing repertoire of direct banking products that includes home loans, personal loans, credit cards, student loans, CDs, money market accounts and savings accounts. Cashback Checking accounts will pay customers 10 cents for every debit card purchase, bill payment and check that they write. The rewards are automatically added to the account holder’s Discover Cashback Bonus balance.
