ING Groep (NYSE:ING) Current price $7.70
On Friday ING reported an approximate $1.16 billion of exposure at year-end to firms registered in Cyprus, but that its credit risk linked to the country was negligible. Data from its annual report suggest that its exposure to Cyprus was similar to that at the end of 2011. In spite of this, shares fell as much as 2.7 percent on Friday to their lowest level since March 4th, as the market worries about the risks and the ramification of a financial meltdown on the island.
