JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM): Current price $49.84
A trader known as the “London whale” might symbolize the multi-billion-dollar loss at JPMorgan Chase, but Congressional investigators have now found that the problems reached more senior levels of the country’s top bank. A new report by the United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations showcases flaws in the bank’s public disclosures and aims at sa number of executives, including Douglas Braunstein, who was chief financial officer at the time of the losses, according knowledgeable sources, who aslo said that the report’s findings will be released on March 15th, and are expected to fault the executives for permitting JPMorgan to build the bets without fully warning regulators and investors.
