Thor Industries (NYSE:THO): Thor is up smartly after beating both revenue and EPS projections. EPS came in at $0.66, when the consensus projection was $.061. Thor should continue to benefit from improving conditions for the public transportation market. The stock is up an impressive 16.35%.
Exterran (NYSE:EXH): This natural gas company has declined significantly since the end of July, but jumped nicely since the beginning of this session. The stock is up 9.81%.
Eastman Kodak Co. (NYSE:EK): Eastman Kodak rose today after a major stakeholder urged the board to sell the company. Gregg Abella of Investment Partners Asset Management wrote the following: “In my opinion, Kodak’s long-term performance is simply unacceptable, and as such it has not earned the right to remain an independent company.” Eastman Kodak is up 7.10%.
