The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) will unveil its latest earnings on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. The average estimate of analysts is for net income of $1.01 per share, a decline of 4.7% from the company’s actual earnings for the same quarter a year ago. During the past three months, the average estimate has moved down from $1.15. Between one and three months ago, the average estimate moved down. It has been unchanged at $1.01 during the last month. For the year, analysts are projecting profit of $4.49 per share, a rise of 7.9% from last year.

The company’s quarterly results have come in above estimates for the last three quarters. Last quarter, the company booked net income of $1.46 per share versus a mean estimate of profit of $1.11 per share. On average, analysts predict $19.4 billion in revenue this quarter, a rise of 17.2% from the year ago quarter. Analysts are forecasting total revenue of $68.42 billion for the year, a rise of 6.4% from last year’s revenue of $64.31 billion.

General Dynamics Corp (NYSE:GD) will unveil its latest earnings on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. The average estimate of analysts is for net income of $2 per share, a rise of 4.7% from the company’s actual earnings for the same quarter a year ago. During the past three months, the average estimate has moved down from $2.02. Between one and three months ago, the average estimate moved down. It has been unchanged at $2 during the last month. For the year, analysts are projecting profit of $7.25 per share, a rise of 6.3% from last year.

The company has beaten estimates the last four quarters and is coming off a quarter where it topped forecasts by 6 cents, reporting net income of $1.83 per share against a mean estimate of profit of $1.77 per share. On average, analysts predict $9.29 billion in revenue this quarter, a rise of 8% from the year ago quarter. Analysts are forecasting total revenue of $32.88 billion for the year, a rise of 1.3% from last year’s revenue of $32.47 billion.

Textron, Inc. (NYSE:TXT) will unveil its latest earnings on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. The average estimate of analysts is for net income of 34 cents per share, a rise of 3% from the company’s actual earnings for the same quarter a year ago. During the past three months, the average estimate has moved down from 40 cents. Between one and three months ago, the average estimate moved down. It also has dropped from 35 cents during the last month. Analysts are projecting profit to rise by 43.2% versus last year to $1.16.

The company has beaten estimates the last two quarters and is coming off a quarter where it topped the forecasts by 14 cents, reporting profit of 45 cents per share against a mean estimate of net income of 31 cents. In the second quarter, the company exceeded forecasts by 4 cents with profit of 29 cents versus a mean estimate of net income of 25 cents. Analysts are projecting a rise of 3.5% in revenue from the year-earlier quarter to $3.24 billion.
