Intel (NASDAQ:INTC): Intel’s latest Haswell-Y processors have flown under the radar lately due to the company’s announcements about smaller chips such as Atom and Quark, but the Haswell-Y line presents significant additional value of its own. The updated fourth-generation processors took average power usage from 7 watts to 6 watts, while the latest models bring that number down to approximately 4 watts. This could mean that core processors could appear in devices that do not have a cooling fan.
