JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) will unveil its latest earnings on Thursday October 13, 2011. The average estimate of analysts is for profit of 98 cents per share, a decline of 3% from the company’s actual earnings for the same quarter a year ago. PepsiCo, Inc (NYSE:PEP) will unveil its latest earnings on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. The average estimate of analysts is for profit of $1.30 per share, a rise of 6.6% from the company’s actual earnings for the same quarter a year ago. During the past three months, the average estimate has moved down from $1.35. Between one and three months ago, the average estimate moved down. It has been unchanged at $1.30 during the last month.

For the year, analysts are projecting net income of $4.41 per share, a rise of 6.8% from last year. Last quarter, the company saw profit of $1.21 per share versus a mean estimate of net income of $1.21 per share. This comes after two consecutive quarters of exceeding expectations. On average, analysts predict $17.27 billion in revenue this quarter, a rise of 11.3% from the year ago quarter. Analysts are forecasting total revenue of $66.37 billion for the year, a rise of 14.7% from last year’s revenue of $57.84 billion.
