Baron Davis hasn’t played in the NBA since 2012. A two-time NBA All-Star, Davis last played for the New York Knicks, and saw his final season in the NBA truncated by a torn ACL and MCL at the age of 32. He’s also good friends with the point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, Steve Nash.

Nash, 39 years old and still in the NBA, has seen his last two seasons with the Lakers hampered by constant injury. Long regarded as one of the brightest players in the league, ESPN recently unveiled a collaboration between their well-known columnist and 30 for 30 creator Bill Simmons and Steve Nash as they chronicle his battle back onto the basketball court for what will likely be his last two seasons as a professional. It’s called The Finish Line.

Davis, unlike Nash, hasn’t seriously considered returning to the NBA after his injuries. Luckily for us, neither he nor Nash are above having some fun with their public personas, and as Nash announced The Finish Line, Davis premiered his mockumentary, The Comeback, on the eve of All-Star Weekend.
