The Precise Take – Uncertainty
The Big Picture – Heading in to opex today, we note the generally bearish seasonality of the day that occurs early, and becomes somewhat (though less reliably) bullish late in the day. However, with all eyes on Greece and all ears tuned to central bankers, anything can happen. With so much volatility priced in and FX desks warning they will be closed Sunday, we must consider that an upside surprise on Sunday will have more strength than a downside surprise will have weakness. Consumer Sentiment at 9:55 am could be a market mover if out of consensus.
