In 2012, Accenture plc’s (NYSE:ACN) shares are up 13.26 percent. In a conference call on Thursday after the quarterly report, Accenture’s chief executive officer Pierre Nanterme said its client cost-cutting efforts are the force behind Europe’s outsourcing business. He added the crisis is delivering “very strong and positive growth in outsourcing,” from companies trimming costs and banks complying with new regulations.

Nanterme said, “What we’ve seen is some moderation of our growth in consulting” there.
