Netflix has made headlines in the past year for its innovative original programs, but it’s still a leading provider of rental and streaming services all over the globe. At the end of 2013, expired licenses required Netflix to take down hundreds of hit movies and TV series. However, the company has released a slew of new titles in the first quarter of 2014, and March is looking to be the best month yet.

1. Capote (2005)

The late Philip Seymour Hoffman won a Best Actor award at the Oscars for his portrayal of Truman Capote in this biopic. The film follows the writer as he crafts his sensational nonfiction novel, In Cold Blood. Capote also stars Clifton Collins Jr. and Mark Pellegrino as murder suspects Perry Smith and Dick Hickock, respectively, and Catherine Keener as Harper Lee, the To Kill a Mockingbird author and Capote’s childhood friend.
