Revenue: Rose 7.4% to $3.85 billion from the year earlier quarter.

Actual vs. Wall St. Expectations: Omnicom Group Inc. beat the mean analyst estimate of 95 cents per share. Analysts were expecting revenue of $3.8 billion.

The company has now seen net income rise in three straight quarters. In the third quarter, net income rose 16.7% and in the second quarter, the figure rose 13.1%.

The company has now topped analyst estimates for the last four quarters. It beat the mark by 2 cents in the third quarter, by 4 cents in the second quarter, and by 10 cents in the first quarter.

Revenue has risen the past four quarters. Revenue increased 12.9% to $3.38 billion in the third quarter. The figure rose 14.7% in the second quarter from the year earlier and climbed 7.9% in the first quarter from the year-ago quarter.

Looking Forward: Analysts have a more positive outlook about the company’s results for next quarter. The average estimate for first quarter of the next fiscal year is 68 cents per share, an increase from 67 cents sixty days ago. For the fiscal year, the average estimate has moved down from $3.31 a share to $3.30 over the last sixty days.
