A Look Back: In the third quarter, profit fell 9.1% to $55.9 million (53 cents a share) from $61.4 million (55 cents a share) the year earlier, missing analyst expectations. Revenue rose 4.9% to $1.36 billion from $1.29 billion.

Revenue has risen the past four quarters. Revenue rose 7.9% in the second quarter from the year earlier, climbed 29.6% in the first quarter from the year-ago quarter and 37.8% in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year.

The company has seen net income fall in each of the last two quarters. Net income dropped 9% in the second quarter.
