Comcast is a provider of entertainment, information, and communications products and services. The company operates in five segments: cable communications, cable networks, broadcast television, filmed entertainment, and theme parks. Comcast offers television, video, high-speed Internet, and voice services to residential and business customers. It also operates NBC and Telemundo broadcast networks; provides filmed entertainment under the Universal Pictures, Focus Features, and Illumination names; and operates theme parks, studios, and a dining, retail, and entertainment complex.
Comcast announced it has promoted Karen Dougherty Buchholz to Senior Vice President of Administration and Rebecca Arbogast to Senior Vice President of Global Public Policy. Ms. Buchholz leads a variety of corporate functions for Comcast, including corporate real estate, facilities, aviation, diversity & inclusion, political affairs, corporate services, travel, and security. Ms. Arbogast is responsible for the development and coordination of the company’s public policy efforts across the corporation. They both report to David L. Cohen, Executive Vice President, Comcast Corporation. “Since joining Comcast nearly 14 years ago, Karen has had a phenomenal career at our company, successfully leading numerous large-scale initiatives, including the development and management of our global corporate headquarters in Philadelphia,” said Mr. Cohen. “She is highly talented, very well respected in the community and our industry, and will continue to be an integral part of our success as she oversees her multiple functions and the expansion of our vertical campus with the newly announced Comcast Innovation and Technology Center.”
