World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:WWE) will unveil its latest earnings on Thursday, November 3, 2011. World Wrestling Entertainment is engaged in the development, production and marketing of television and pay-per-view event programming and live events, and the licensing and sale of consumer products featuring its World Wrestling Entertainment brands.

A Look Back: In the second quarter, profit rose more than twofold to $14.3 million (19 cents a share) from $6.3 million (8 cents a share) the year earlier, but fell short analyst expectations. Revenue rose 33.4% to $142.6 million from $106.8 million.

The increase in profit in the second quarter broke a streak of two consecutive quarters of year-over-year profit decreases. The figure dropped 65.2% in the first quarter and 27.2% in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year.

Revenue rose in the second quarter after seeing a drop the quarter before. In the first quarter, revenue fell 13.6%.
