Analyst: Entertainment Industry Continues to Hold Steady

Key Redbox releases this year (with domestic box office total from

  • June 17: Three Days to Kill ($31 million)
  • June 24: Endless Love ($23 million)

Key Redbox releases last year (with domestic box office total from

  • June 18: Beautiful Creatures ($19 million), Quartet ($18 million), The Last Exorcism Part II ($15 million)
  • June 25: The Call ($52 million)

Over the next two weeks, there are three rental releases that grossed more than $50 million in domestic box office, compared to three last year. DVD rentals for the upcoming two-week period are likely to be flat with the same period last year.
