Proof Microsoft has Become Irrelevant

Did you know today Microsoft (MSFT) unveiled their “highly anticipated” Kin mobile phones? Neither did I. Instead, I was too distracted by rumors about Google’s (GOOG) new tablet device.

A rumor cast a shadow on a major product release from Microsoft? This is more evidence the real battle is between Google and Apple (AAPL).

Further, let’s look at Microsoft’s new search engine Bing:

If this keeps up, Microsoft may want to rename it ‘Ding’ because that’s how big an impact they’ve had in the search space.

For the moment, Kin and Bing are not making huge waves. Maybe that will change. For now, I will keep my eye on Google and Apple as they push technology to the cutting edge.
