Pandora (NYSE:P): Needham has raised its estimates and price target on the music streaming service, based on profits driven from the imposed listening caps on mobile devices. It keeps a Buy rating on the shares, and a price target of $20, up from $16.

LinkedIn (NYSE:LNKD): LinkedIn has become the second-most valuable social destination for marketers, second only to Facebook, according to a recent survey by SocialMedia Examiner. While Facebook takes the vast majority — 49 percent — of marketers, 16 percent would choose LinkedIn if they were made to choose one platform to use. YouTube fell surprisingly low, at 4 percent, but topped for “future plans,” with 69 percent of marketers saying that they plan to increase their use this year.

NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA): Nvidia has made some improvements to its Tegra 4i platform, notably the addition of LTE-Advanced support. NVIDIA notes that because of its “software defined radio technology” it can add support for new technologies with a simple software update, making the chip more future-proof than its competitors’. Steep competition has companies scrambling to stay ahead of the game, which now has a strong mobile-based focus.

Intel (NASDAQ:INTC): As companies scramble to get their hardware into the next big device, Intel seems to have won the latest round, as it was revealed that its Atom chip was found in the next generation of Samsung’s (SSNLF.PK) Galaxy tablet, set to make its debut at Computex in a couple of weeks. Stranger still, the Korean firm has a chip of its own that it could use, but Geek suggests that Samsung has called on Intel to avoid supply-and-demand-related issues.

AT&T (NYSE:T): In an industry where success is based on coverage and speed, AT&T can at least claim the latter: its LTE network was rated the fastest by the folks over at TechHive, in their annual broadband survey. This marks the second year in a row that AT&T took the crown, and tests conducted revealed AT&T’s network averaged download speeds of 13.15 mbps, and 6.45 mbps for uploads.

Sprint-Nextel (NYSE:S): Clearwire (NASDAQ:CLWR) has recommended to its shareholders that they accept the revised terms for Sprint’s sweetened offer for the company, as it is now offering $3.40 per share over the prior offer of $2.97 per share. ”When compared with other potential transactions reasonably available to the company at this time, is the most favorable potential transaction to the company’s unaffiliated stockholders,” Clearwire said in a statement.

Whirlpool (NYSE:WHR): Positive volume growth in Q3, coupled with margin improvement can serve as catalysts for the shares, according to Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, which keeps the shares as a top pick. It keeps a Buy rating and $165 price target on the shares.

Saks Inc. (NYSE:SKS): Maxim has raised its price target for Saks, after the New York Post reported that the company hired Goldman Sachs to pursue strategic alternatives, and considers the company to be an ”extremely valuable franchise.” It keeps a Buy rating on the shares.

GameStop (NYSE:GME): Sterne Agee believes that the company has a positive opportunity due to the launch of the new Xbox, including the fact that it will accept new games and is launching this year instead of 2014, as some reports had suggested. The firm keeps a $46 price target and Buy rating.

News Corp. (NASDAQ:NWSA): News Corporation is still a favorite among leading hedge funds, according to Insider Monkey. Although shares are up 26 percent since January, the valuation has had the room to stretch, and the rumored split of the company could be beneficial. Recently, Lone Pine expanded its stake in News Corp. to roughly 22 million shares.

Coinstar (NASDAQ:CSTR): CFO Galen Smith is optimistic that a strong lineup of movies due to be released this summer will help Coinstar’s RedBox franchise perform well in the second half of this year, despite analyst concerns that RedBox was slipping in the face of increased competition from Netflix and other instant services. However, at the B. Riley & Co. investor conference, Smith reaffirmed that DVD rentals remain robust.

Sony Corp. (NYSE:SNE): With Samsung and LG Electronics floundering with OLED technology, Sony might have a window to sneak through with its more affordable LCD TVs and the 4K line that falls between the LCD and OLED. An OLED quipped set from LG will run about $9,900 at retail. Separately, Sony’s CEO Kazuo Hirai has acknowledged that the company is exploring Third Point’s Daniel Loeb’s proposal to spin off its entertainment arm, noting that the company is committed to keeping its major shareholders happy.

BlackBerry (NASDAQ:BBRY): Exane BNP Paribas has downgraded BlackBerry to Underperform, noting that “long-term profitability prospects hinge essentially on the longevity of its Service revenues, which are unsustainable, in our view,” according to the note, which also noted that BlackBerry’s profit pools are drying up.

Ford (NYSE:F): Ford, along with its Detroit brethren General Motors (NYSE:GM) and Chrysler, will be foregoing the usual two-week facility shutdown this summer, to address strong demand for vehicles. Additionally, the companies are adding more shifts to their assembly plants, which are already running near or at capacity. Ford intends to push an extra 200,000 vehicles to dealerships this year.

Toyota Motor Co. (NYSE:TM): On Wednesday, it was announced that Toyota has passed BMW for the crown of being the most valuable car brand, with a 2013 brand value pegged at $24.5 billion — a 12 percent increase over 2012. BMW’s value of $24 billion represents a 2 percent decline since last year. Ford took first among American manufacturers, with an 8 percent gain in brand value. ”[Toyota's] hybrids are reinforcing the experience of the brand, and in so doing, Toyota continues to magnify what is special and different about it,” said Peter Walshe, Millward Brown global brand director.

ARM Holdings (NASDAQ:ARMH): In light of Tuesday’s analyst day, Canaccord raised its estimates for the company after its management pointed out strong long-term royalty and market growth opportunities into high and low tier smartphones. Canaccord also believes it is well positioned to benefit from increasing emerging market feature phones, tablets, and high-tier smartphone refreshes. It rates the shares at Buy with a $56 price target, up from $52.

Vodafone (NASDAQ:VOD): RW Baird believes that Vodafone is an attractive way to play the trends at Verizon Wireless, noting Vodafone’s solid results and guidance as well as plans to maintain the latest Verizon Wireless dividend for corporate purposes. It keeps the shares rated an Outperform with a $32 Price target.

Salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM): Bernstein finds the company’s cash flow trends as being concerning, as cash expense indicates a significant decline in free cash flow per share. The firm anticipates that Salesforce will have to pay a higher percentage of compensation in cash, as the free cash flow falls. It keeps an Underperform rating on the shares, with a $29 price target.

Dick’s Sporting Goods (NYSE:DKS): In-line quarterly results urged Susquehanna to raise its price target on the shares, as it believes the company’s September analyst day and Q2 results could be catalysts to move the shares higher. It rates the shares at Positive, with a $61 price target, up from $57.

Best Buy (NYSE:BBY): After Best Buy reported higher than expected operating EPS but margins that RBC Capital found disappointing, the firm expects the company’s trends to begin to improve in the second half of this year. Tesla Motors (NASDAQ:TSLA): Morgan Stanley estimates that Tesla could make $188 million this year from selling environmental credits, which CEO Elon Musk has denied as being a crutch to the company’s profitability (and the company proved so during the last earnings report). However, a stash of credits in Tesla’s back pocket provides a comfy cushion to lean on through downward sales trends when large manufacturers are having hard times reaching the higher state emissions standards. On a different note, the car maker may potentially pay off its Department of Energy loan today — in full, nine years early, to the taxpayer’s advantage of $12 million.

Boeing (NYSE:BA): Boeing has announced that it intends to return 80 percent of its free cash flows to shareholders, through dividends and share buybacks. Chief Financial Officer Greg Smith said the cash deployment move, a step up from current levels of cash return, won’t reduce its cash balance of about $11 billion.

Monter Beverage (NASDAQ:MNST): Shares picked up after an upgrade from BMO Capital, which now pegs the shares at Outperform on the basis that ”incessant negative media coverage…has created a compelling entry point.”
